The Underinformed Pika
Random inspiration: underinformed pika
AI-generated painting and story
The story
The pika had heard rumors of a summit where wisdom was dispensed in acorn-sized portions, but misheard the directions and ended up here, convinced the mist was a sentient FAQ. It waited three hours for an answer, then nibbled a flower and decided uncertainty was probably fine.
The brief
A small, wide-eyed pika sits upright on a mossy rock in a dim alpine meadow, its ears twitching as it stares at a floating question mark made of mist, surrounded by blurred wildflowers under a flat, overcast sky in muted greens and greys.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
