The Underinformed Drongo
Random inspiration: underinformed drongo
AI-generated painting and story
The story
The drongo read one page of a book about weather. It now believes the wall is a cloud. It sits on the stool and waits for rain. It has waited for three years. It does not move because clouds do not move unless pushed. The wall remains grey. The drongo remains certain.
The brief
A brown drongo sits upright on a wooden stool in a white room, staring at a blank grey wall. The light is flat and grey. The colours are muted browns and greys.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
