The Under New Management Tody

The story

The Tody arrived on a Tuesday to oversee the transition. He did not speak, nor did he sign any documents. He simply occupied the manager's chair and stared at the empty inbox. The staff waited for directives that never came, assuming his silence was a sophisticated form of leadership. After three weeks, they decided the bird was the most efficient manager they had ever had because he never requested status reports or scheduled meetings. He remained on the perch until the lease expired, at which point he flew out the window without a word.
