The Under New Management Caribou
Random inspiration: under new management caribou
AI-generated painting and story
The story
The caribou arrived on a Tuesday with a briefcase and a signed lease. No one questioned the change in leadership. Every morning, it stamps forms with a heavy hoof and sips lukewarm coffee from a chipped mug. The employees continue filing reports, though none know what the reports are for. Outside, the snow falls in silent sheets, covering the parking lot where the previous manager's car remains, keys still in the ignition.
The brief
A caribou stands behind a wooden counter in a fluorescent-lit office. It wears a crooked navy tie and holds a clipboard. The walls are beige with a single framed certificate. Pale green light filters through a dusty window, illuminating stacks of beige paperwork and a plastic water cooler.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
