The Under New Management Bellbird
Random inspiration: under new management bellbird
AI-generated painting and story
The story
The bellbird had been hired to streamline operations. It spent its mornings tapping the clipboard against the dowel and its afternoons staring at the filing cabinet with a look of profound skepticism. The staff avoided its gaze, knowing that any misplaced form would result in a sharp, singular chirp. It did not eat seeds. It only ate the idea of efficiency, and it was very hungry.
The brief
A brown bellbird sits on a wooden dowel in a grey office, wearing a small dark tie and holding a clipboard. Fluorescent light casts flat shadows on beige walls and a metal filing cabinet. A sign reading 'Under New Management' hangs crookedly behind it.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
