The Sentimentally Beige Swan
Random inspiration: sentimentally beige swan
AI-generated painting and story
The story
Harold was told he was a beige swan, and he believed it. He spent his days standing on the beige rug, practicing neutrality. He waited for someone to notice that he blended into the wallpaper, but no one ever did. He felt nothing about this, which was precisely the point. The beige light hummed quietly above him as he remained perfectly still, fulfilling his role without complaint.
The brief
A beige swan stands on a beige rug in a beige room, facing forward with a neutral expression under flat, grey light. The walls and floor match the swan's feathers exactly.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
