The Recently Laminated Tree Frog
Random inspiration: recently laminated tree frog
AI-generated painting and story
The story
The frog had volunteered for the lamination process, assured it would preserve its natural state for posterity. Now, immobilized beneath the clear film, it contemplates the irony of being both perfectly preserved and utterly useless—its limbs twitch only in memory, its croak silenced by adhesive, its purpose reduced to a specimen labeled 'Subject 7: Ambiguously Content'.
The brief
A single tree frog sits perfectly still on a glossy white laminate surface, its skin reflecting the harsh overhead light in a sterile laboratory, surrounded by beakers and a clipboard with illegible notes.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
