The Legally Distinct Seedeater
Random inspiration: legally distinct seedeater
AI-generated painting and story
The story
The bird waited for the seed that never arrived. It had read the pamphlet on seed distribution three times. It checked the clock every minute. The window remained closed. The bird remained still. It wondered if the seed had been legally distinct from itself.
The brief
A small grey bird with a blunt beak sits on a beige windowsill in an empty room. Grey light fills the space. The wall behind the bird is painted pale yellow.
The painting and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment.
