When Cherry Blossoms Met Mismatched Socks
Romcom
Original characters: Haruka Mizuki and Daichi Tanaka
AI-generated anime picture and story
The story
Haruka had promised to help Daichi prepare for his first official tea ceremony demonstration, but neither expected the wind to steal his socks or his nerve. Now, barefoot and flustered, Daichi fumbles with his taiyaki as Haruka laughs, tugging his tie into place. 'You look like a startled sparrow,' she teases, wiping a stray blossom from his cheek. He stammers a thanks, his heart pounding louder than the temple bell. For a moment, the world narrows to the warmth of her hands, the sweetness of red bean, and the quiet promise that maybe, just maybe, being clumsy together is exactly how it’s supposed to begin.
The picture brief
Under a canopy of falling pink cherry blossoms, Haruka Mizuki stands on her tiptoes trying to adjust Daichi Tanaka's crooked bow tie while he blushes and holds a half-eaten taiyaki, both barefoot on a wooden veranda overlooking a quiet garden pond at golden hour, soft light catching the petals in their hair.
The picture and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment. The genre is the one this 45-minute slot rotates to, not a choice made afterwards.
