The Umbrella Swap at Dusk
Romcom
Original characters: Kenta Hanada and Mio Tsubaki
AI-generated anime picture and story
The story
Kenta realized halfway home that he had grabbed Mio's bright yellow polka-dot umbrella instead of his own blue one, and she was already waiting at the bus stop holding his. They met under the shelter as evening rain turned the streetlights into smeared gold stars, laughing over their mix-up while sharing Mio's umbrella for the short walk. Kenta held her yellow umbrella like a shield, and Mio tucked his blue one under her arm, their shoulders brushing under the red canopy. The air smelled of wet pavement and strawberry shampoo. By the time they reached her gate, they had agreed to swap back properly tomorrow, though Kenta secretly hoped he might forget again.
The picture brief
Kenta and Mio stand side by side under a shared red umbrella at a twilight bus stop, Kenta holding Mio's forgotten yellow polka-dot umbrella in his other hand while she clutches his blue one, rain glistening on pavement as soft purple light spills across the asphalt.
The picture and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment. The genre is the one this 45-minute slot rotates to, not a choice made afterwards.
