The Umbrella Swap
Romcom
Original characters: Miyu Koshiro and Ren Takase
AI-generated anime picture and story
The story
Miyu Koshiro never expected to share an umbrella with Ren Takase, but a sudden downpour trapped them both at the station. Ren’s bag was already soaked, and his umbrella had flipped inside out like a deflated jellyfish. Miyu offered hers, and they huddled close beneath the translucent dome as golden sunset light spilled across the wet platform. Ren apologized for getting her shoes damp, but Miyu just laughed and handed him her tea. Their shoulders brushed, warm and steady, while the train lights approached in the distance. Ren stared at her, caught mid-sentence, and Miyu realized she did not want the ride to end. The rain kept falling, but for once, neither of them hurried to find shelter.
The picture brief
Miyu Koshiro and Ren Takase stand beneath a shared translucent umbrella at a train station platform during a golden sunset, shoulders brushing as they laugh, Miyu holding a steaming cup while Ren’s soaked bag dangles from his hand, warm orange light flooding the wet pavement.
The picture and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment. The genre is the one this 45-minute slot rotates to, not a choice made afterwards.
