The Moonlit Bakery of Whispering Crust

The story

Every full moon, the Bakery of Whispering Crust rises from the mist, baked not by hands but by dreams. Lumo, a cloud-baker with flour in his hair, shapes pastries that sing lullabies when bitten. Tessara, whose apron is woven from spider-silk and starlight, ensures each loaf rises with joy. Glimmer, half-cat, half-ember, purrs the oven to perfect warmth. Tonight, a lost child from the village below follows the scent of cinnamon and courage, finds a warm muffin waiting on the windowsill, and eats it — suddenly remembering how to laugh. The bakery fades at dawn, leaving only crumbs that glow like fireflies, and the quiet certainty that kindness, once baked, never truly disappears.
