The Clockwork Baker's Moon
Fantasy
Original characters: Mira and Tock
AI-generated anime picture and story
The story
Mira wiped flour from her cheek and offered a crumb of enchanted moon-cheese to Tock. The brass rabbit twitched its copper whiskers, its glass eyes reflecting the lavender light of the full moon. They sat on the warm tiles of the bakery roof, watching the town of Oakhaven drift into sleep. Below, the scent of cinnamon and yeast drifted through the cool night air. Tock let out a soft, melodic chime as he accepted the treat, his tiny gears whirring with contentment. Mira smiled, leaning her head against his cool metal shoulder. In this quiet moment, with the city lights twinkling like fallen stars, she felt the world was perfectly balanced between the magic of the oven and the mystery of the night.
The picture brief
Mira and Tock sit side-by-side on a bakery rooftop, Mira's hands dusted in flour as she feeds a small piece of moon-cheese to Tock, a brass automaton rabbit. Below them, the cobblestone streets of a sleeping town glow amber under a massive, pale lavender moon, with steam rising from the bakery chimneys.
The picture and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment. The genre is the one this 45-minute slot rotates to, not a choice made afterwards.
