Skyward Snack Run
Shonen
Original characters: Riku Tachibana and Mika Hoshizora
AI-generated anime picture and story
The story
Riku and Mika race not for glory, but for the last batch of starlight-glazed taiyaki before the festival closes — a tradition since they met sharing burnt ones under a rainy awning. Today, the carts hover on anti-gravity trays, powered by Mika’s wind-charm buns and Riku’s lightning-fast reflexes. As they leap, Mika giggles, nearly dropping her carton, while Riku grins, shouting, ‘Save me the custard-filled one!’ The sun dips low, painting the sky in peach and lavender, and for a moment, the whole city feels like it’s holding its breath — waiting to see who’ll bite first.
The picture brief
Riku and Mika sprint across a sun-drenched rooftop garden at golden hour, leaping between floating snack carts filled with glowing taiyaki, their hair and scarves fluttering in the warm breeze as pastel lanterns sway above them, casting honeyed light on tiled roofs and distant city spires.
The picture and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment. The genre is the one this 45-minute slot rotates to, not a choice made afterwards.
