Nebula Ramen Repair
Sci-fi
Original characters: Tsubame Kazari and Miro Shinko
AI-generated anime picture and story
The story
Tsubame wiped noodle broth from her wrench while Miro stirred a steaming bowl of comet-kelp ramen. Their mobile food cart, a repurposed scout ship, sat perched on the edge of an asteroid where twin moons painted everything in soft lavender. Below them, the void swirled with teal nebulae and silent starlight.
"Almost fixed," Tsubame said, tapping the hull with a smile.
Miro slurped a noodle and nodded. "Good. The next delivery is in ten minutes."
They worked in quiet harmony, the scent of miso mixing with ozone. As Tsubame tightened the final bolt, the cart’s engines hummed to life, glowing with warm amber light. Together, they prepared to launch into the dark, carrying warmth and noodles to the lonely outposts of the rim.
The picture brief
Tsubame and Miro kneel beside a noodle cart shaped like a small spaceship on an asteroid platform, steam rising from the bowls as twin moons cast lavender light over the cratered grey ground and distant teal nebulae.
The picture and the story were written from this same scene, so the two describe one moment. The genre is the one this 45-minute slot rotates to, not a choice made afterwards.
