How this works

Every competition on this site is read from a public news feed, stored locally, and summarised by an AI model from the headlines alone.

Where the headlines come from

Headlines and links come from ESPN's public news API. This site stores the publisher's own headline, description, publisher name and link; it does not copy article text and it never fetches an article to write about it.

How the overviews are written

Overviews on this site are written by an AI model from the publisher's own headline metadata and are labelled as such. They summarise the linked headlines, not the articles: verify the sources before relying on anything, and treat every claim as the source's, not this site's.

Freshness and caching

Headlines are re-read on a persisted schedule and stored in SQLite. Each competition gets one AI overview per fifteen-minute UTC window, generated in the background. Public pages are served from SQLite alone: a page view never calls a feed or a model. When the provider is unavailable, the most recent saved overview is shown with its original generation time and sources, labelled as a saved overview, and the next attempt is scheduled.
